BBQ Chicken Sitter
A simple yet effective accessory designed for kamado BBQs, outdoor grills and conventional ovens.
Perfect for beer can chicken or your favourite marinades, it helps keep the chicken upright during cooking, allowing heat to circulate evenly for juicy meat and crispy, golden skin.
Crafted from high-quality ceramic, the Chicken Sitter is durable, reusable and dishwasher safe, making clean-up quick and easy after every cook.
Grilling
Approx. 1 hour at 175°C or 8 minutes per pound.
Place the chicken directly on the Chicken Sitter and position it on the cooking grate. Suitable for chickens and other poultry weighing up to 2.3kg (5lbs).
Roasting
Approx. 1 hour 45 minutes at 160°C or 15 minutes per pound.
Position a heat deflector beneath the cooking grate and place a drip tray between the heat deflector and grate to catch cooking juices.
Smoking
Approx. 3.5 hours at 105°C or 30 minutes per pound.
Use a heat deflector in the lower position with a drip tray placed above it. For best results, cook until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 71°C.
